Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Air Ticketing & Reservation role based in Dhaka. The role involves handling flight inquiries, preparing itineraries, and processing ticket sales through different booking systems and airline portals. The team member will manage reservations, modify bookings, and ensure accurate fare calculations, schedules, and documentation. Daily tasks include providing clear information to customers, responding to queries, resolving booking issues, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The role also includes coordinating with airlines and internal teams, maintaining customer records, and meeting sales and service targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Ticket Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet booking and revenue targets.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to handle inquiries and support travelers professionally.
- Candidates should possess solid Reservations skills, including experience using airline reservation or GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) or similar platforms.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of airline routes, fares, and travel regulations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with online booking tools and databases.
- Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, collaborate with team members, and handle peak travel seasons.
- Prior experience in travel agencies, airline ticketing, or a related field is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, or business is preferred.
