Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations (inbound, storage, dispatch, and returns) across depots managed by 3PL partners
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, SLAs, KPIs, audit standards, and regulatory requirements across all warehouse activities
- Monitor and optimize inventory accuracy, FIFO/FEFO compliance, space utilization, productivity, and housekeeping standards
- Drive 3PL performance management, including regular reviews and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Manage end-to-end distribution operations, ensuring efficient routing, timely deliveries, and high customer service levels (OTIF/CSL)
- Plan and optimize transport routes, fleet utilization, and load efficiency to enhance delivery performance and reduce costs
- Oversee transporter coordination, vehicle deployment, and delivery execution, ensuring timely proof-of-delivery closure
- Proactively manage delivery exceptions, delays, and customer escalations to maintain service excellence
- Monitor and control warehouse and distribution costs, supporting budgeting, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost per unit
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards, including proper material handling, PPE usage, and incident reporting
- Lead audits, inspections, and compliance reviews, ensuring timely closure of observations
- Track and analyze key KPIs such as inventory accuracy, service levels, transport efficiency, damages, and compliance metrics
- Prepare and present operational performance reports with insights, risks, and improvement recommendations
- Act as the primary liaison for 3PL partners and cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Planning, QA, HR)
- Support implementation of new systems, SOPs, and process improvements, while guiding on-site teams and influencing 3PL operations
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Stores Management, or Transport Management, or related discipline
- Should have minimum 6- 8 years experience in warehouse and logistics management
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations
- Proven experience in managing multi-location 3PL operations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Prefer to travel outstation locations due to business requirements
- Working Days – Monday to Friday and Two Saturdays per month
