About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Call Center Agent (m/w/d) for our inbound customer service team based in Troisdorf near Cologne/Bonn. This full-time or part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with technical support related to online banking services. The role involves assisting clients with their inquiries, verifying customer identities, and troubleshooting technical issues in electronic payment transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently or within a team to deliver outstanding service. This position is available immediately and offers a permanent contract, providing stability and growth opportunities within our organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills in German, both spoken and written, with a clear and professional manner. You should be service-oriented, empathetic, and capable of handling customer inquiries efficiently. Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or technical support is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided. You must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment. A high level of reliability, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in helping customers are essential. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with online banking systems are preferred to facilitate smooth support delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers seeking assistance with online banking issues, providing clear and professional support over the phone.
- Verify the identity of callers to ensure security and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting technical problems related to electronic payment transactions, online banking access, and other digital banking services.
- Document customer interactions accurately and follow up on unresolved issues to ensure complete resolution.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve service quality and share best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking products, services, and technical systems to provide accurate and efficient support.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with data protection and security standards.
