Purpose Of The Job:
Our client, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Vehicle Costing / Service Advisor Administrator to join their aftersales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing costing administration, supporting service advisors, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining efficient workshop administrative processes.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage workshop costing and invoicing accurately
- Assist Service Advisors with administrative and customer-related functions
- Open and close job cards efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all labour, parts, and sublet costs are captured correctly
- Liaise with workshop staff, technicians, and parts departments
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow up on outstanding job cards and invoices
- Assist with warranty and maintenance plan administration where applicable
- Deliver professional customer service and communication
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Costing Clerk, Service Advisor Administrator, or similar automotive aftersales role
- Minimum 2-3yrs experience within a commercial vehicle dealership environment (essential)
- Strong understanding of workshop costing and invoicing procedures
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Computer literacy with dealership management systems experience advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with commercial truck or fleet brands
- Knowledge of warranty and maintenance plan processes
- Dealer management system experience
