Genia is looking for a customer-focused professional to join our New Zealand team as a Customer Care Representative.
This is far more than a traditional customer service role. You'll take ownership of customer orders from enquiry through to delivery, working closely with production, dispatch and freight partners to ensure every order is delivered accurately and on time.
You'll become the trusted first point of contact for both New Zealand retail and export customers, providing outstanding service while building long-term relationships. A Typical Day Will Include
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Processing customer orders from placement through to delivery
- Coordinating with production and dispatch to keep orders moving
- Managing freight bookings and delivery schedules
- Coordinating export documentation and international shipments
- Preparing quotations and maintaining accurate pricing information
- Supporting the Sales team with CRM updates and customer follow-up
- Resolving customer issues professionally and efficiently
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
About You
You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where organization and customer service go hand in hand.
You'll bring:
- At least 3 years' experience in customer service or customer administration
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence learning new systems and technology
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure
Experience in freight, logistics or export administration would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
