Location: Cary, NC (Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday in office; Monday and Friday work from home)

Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

We are looking for a Customer Order Processing Specialist supporting customer accounts through the complete order-to-delivery lifecycle while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in order management, customer service, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced environment.

This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and processes.

  • Manage customer orders from entry through delivery and fulfillment
  • Ensure accurate and timely order entry into SAP and internal systems
  • Monitor order status using dashboards and reporting tools
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, production, and finance teams to support fulfillment activities
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order updates, delays, or issues
  • Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and transaction history
  • Analyze reporting data to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in process improvement and cross-functional operational projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR equivalent work experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in customer service, order management, account management, or supply chain operations
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device industries
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with order-to-cash processes
  • Experience creating or analyzing dashboards and operational reports
  • Ability to present processes and tools to customers or healthcare professionals
