What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Answer member, provider, and broker inquiries regarding product information, benefits, claims resolution, eligibility, and billing questions
- Resolve complex inquiries by gathering information, verifying understanding, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Advocates to maintain accuracy and professionalism in responses
- Maintain documentation of client interactions according to established procedures
- Foster a positive team environment that emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to build customer trust
- Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands effectively
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- 5 or more years of experience in a call center customer service role or with medical or insurance terminology
- Empathetic and compassionate communication skills
