Role Description The Customer Service Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Aluthgama. This position is responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms, ensuring prompt, accurate, and courteous support. Day-to-day tasks include resolving service-related issues, guiding clients through Digital Escapes’ offerings, documenting interactions in internal systems, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to escalate complex issues, collecting feedback to improve services, and maintaining a professional and empathetic approach in every interaction. The successful candidate will contribute directly to a high-quality customer experience and client retention.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and customer support skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in customer satisfaction and customer experience, focusing on building trust and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Aluthgama, manage time effectively, and handle multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with email, CRM tools, or helpdesk systems; experience in hospitality or tourism-related services is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, a collaborative mindset, and a professional, respectful attitude toward customers and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; relevant vocational training or a diploma in business, hospitality, or communications is beneficial.
