Position Overview:

New York Hardware is seeking a junior level, reliable, detail-oriented Customer Service & Showroom Associate to join our team. This entry level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, design-focused environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be responsible for supporting daily showroom operations, assisting customers, and maintaining organized, accurate displays.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally

●      Handle shipping and receiving of products and inventory

●      Assist with customer pick-ups and order coordination

●      Greet and assist showroom visitors with a welcoming, service-oriented approach

●      Open and process incoming orders

●      Ensure all displays are accurately priced and up to date

●      Update and move showroom displays as needed

Physical Requirements:

●      Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 30+ lbs

●      Comfortable with standing, moving, and handling heavy displays, shipments, and inventory throughout the day

Qualifications:

●      Strong communication and customer service skills

●      Highly organized with attention to detail

●      Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment

●      Team-oriented with a positive attitude

●      Previous retail, showroom, or customer service experience preferred (but not required)

Compensation: This role pays $16.90 hourly. As a full-time employee, you would be eligible for company benefits.
