Customer Service Assistant

Role Overview

A growing real estate and property services company is seeking a confident, customer-oriented Customer Service Assistant to handle client inquiries, support sales conversions, and provide exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and market company property services to prospective and existing clients
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, and other communication platforms
  • Convert customer inquiries into successful sales opportunities and support business growth
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, follow-ups, and sales activities
  • Provide clear and accurate information regarding company services and available property listings
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client support
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and customer service KPIs

Requirements

  • School leavers and enthusiastic entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, reservations, or a related field will be an added advantage, but is not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English and Sinhala/Tamil proficiency preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Basic computer literacy including MS Office, email handling, and social media platforms
  • Positive attitude with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Professional appearance and willingness to learn and grow within the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in real estate, hotel reservations, customer support, or sales operations
  • Ability to confidently engage with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, and online customer engagement tools
  • Familiarity with property-related services and client coordination will be an added advantage
