Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to support both wholesale and e-commerce operations for a growing women’s brand. This individual will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both retail partners and direct-to-consumer customers while supporting daily order management and cross-functional operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and prior experience supporting both wholesale accounts and e-commerce customer service within an apparel, fashion, or consumer goods environment. This person thrives in a fast-paced setting, communicates effectively, and enjoys building positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day customer support for both wholesale accounts and direct-to-consumer (DTC/e-commerce) customers
  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipping, returns, product information, inventory availability, and account support
  • Support wholesale order entry, order tracking, and communication with retail partners and sales representatives
  • Assist in managing retailer portals, purchase orders, shipping updates, and account-related inquiries
  • Process e-commerce orders, returns, exchanges, and customer issue resolution in a timely and professional manner
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, E-Commerce, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate customer records and order details within internal systems
  • Escalate customer concerns appropriately while helping identify proactive solutions to improve service and efficiency
  • Support seasonal business needs and additional administrative projects as required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably within apparel, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer products
  • Experience supporting both wholesale and e-commerce customer service channels required
  • Familiarity with retailer portals, purchase orders, order management, and DTC customer support preferred
  • Experience with platforms such as Shopify, ERP systems, Zendesk, Gorgias, NetSuite, EDI, or similar tools preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-first approach
  • Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, preferred
