Soudal Ireland is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our team based in Santry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with customers, and has a strong commercial mindset. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using SAP
- Manage and resolve customer queries, complaints, and delivery issues in a timely manner
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers
- Support the sales team in identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products
- Monitor order status, stock levels, and delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel
- Liaise with internal departments including sales, logistics, and finance
- Ensure all customer interactions reflect the company’s high standards of service
Profile
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role
- Strong SAP experience (order processing and customer management)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (reporting, data analysis, and tracking)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a strong sales awareness
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Experience in a fast-moving or manufacturing/distribution environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
