An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join a fast-paced and customer-focused organisation based in Camberwell. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a high-volume environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to the community.

Your new role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries across multiple channels, including phone, email and face-to-face interactions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing high volumes of customer enquiries
- Providing accurate information and resolving customer issues
- Handling complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Processing customer requests and maintaining accurate records
- Working within CRM systems, with Oracle or Salesforce experience is highly regarded.
- Delivering excellent customer service while meeting service standards and KPIs
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience within a contact centre or high-volume customer service environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience handling customer enquiries and complaint resolution
- Proficiency using CRM systems (Oracle or Salesforce highly regarded)
- Excellent attention to detail and administration skills
- Experience within local or state government is preferred. However, candidates from retail, hospitality, banking, utilities or similar customer-focused environments are encouraged to apply.
