About The Position
Mississauga Research – Commercial Division
This is a full time non-exempt position.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Position includes all aspects of Customer Service
- Act as liaison with mills and mill schedulers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of orders
- Receiving, pricing and entering orders
- Invoicing
- Position also involves resolving customer issues, last minute changes or any other issues which arise
- Timely and effective resolution of all accounts receivables is a key aspect
- Supporting sales people in all aspects of customer accounts and spot pricing
- Coordinates logistics with the shipping plant, trucking group or directly with the carriers
- Contract entry
- Scanning documents for shipments
- Collection of past due invoices and investigating charge back and short payments
- Researching and acquiring resolution of customer complaints
- Works closely with sales staff on account management
Required Skills And Qualifications

- Basic proficiency in Word-Excel-Outlook.
- The candidate must be able to use a calculator and have basic mathematics skills.
- The candidate will have a confident and courteous manner and must be able to hear and speak clearly; read, comprehend, and communicate, orally and in writing in order to effectively communicate in person or by telephone.
Education Or Work Experience
- The ideal candidate will have a HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a sales environment
