United Staffing Associates is partnering with a well-established glass installation company in San Luis Obispo County in its search for an experienced Customer Service & Sales Representative. This position supports customer needs and daily operational functions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, and in person, providing timely and professional service.
- Prepare and manage customer quotes, follow up on open opportunities, and support the sales process through responsive communication and relationship management.
- Process and manage customer orders accurately while coordinating with internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members through clear communication and dependable follow-through.
- Monitor order progress, provide status updates, and resolve customer concerns or operational issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Support daily office operations, including answering phones, greeting customers, maintaining records, and performing administrative tasks.
- Collaborate across departments to support operational efficiency and successful project execution.
- Adapt to changing priorities, processes, and software systems while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Maintain current knowledge of company products, services, and industry developments to provide exceptional customer support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the window, door, or glass construction industry required.
- Experience with sales, estimating, or quoting software strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software applications preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $27.88 – $33.65/hour
