Role Value Proposition

We are actively hiring Customer Care Advocates for our Dental team! In this role, you will handle inbound customer service inquiries via phone and/or email and resolve issues while putting customers at the center of every interaction. Successful candidates demonstrate strong listening skills, empathy, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help customers. You’ll focus on understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that make their experience easy and exceptional.

Key Responsibilities

  • This is a virtual/work‑from‑home role.
  • Respond to dental customer inquiries via phone or email, providing excellent service to customers with insurance products or benefit plans.
  • Research customer questions regarding product details, policy provisions, claim status, procedures, and more.
  • Process transactions efficiently and route policy modification requests to the appropriate teams. Track cases to ensure completion.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, and empathy.
  • Navigate multiple electronic systems across several monitors to provide complete and accurate information.
  • Perform all responsibilities professionally while demonstrating strong verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to quality service.

Required Qualifications

  • Must reside in the State of California.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year of customer service experience (call center, retail, hospitality, etc.).
  • Ability and willingness to work shifts within 5 AM – 8 PM PST, Monday–Friday; schedules are based on business needs.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer monitors and systems (e.g., Word, Salesforce, Insight) while interacting with customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous call center or customer service representative experience.
  • Strong keyboarding/computer skills and the ability to type efficiently.
  • Experience with dental or other insurance products.
  • Prior work experience in a dental office.
  • Excellent listening skills and professional verbal communication skills that promote trust, empathy, and a positive customer experience.
  • Previous Salesforce experience is a plus.
