Rapid Radios is a growing tech company located in Ada, MI, with a strong focus on teamwork, customer experience, and employee well-being. We are currently looking to add a Customer Care Representative to our team as we continue to grow.

Pay: $20/hour

Available Schedules In-Office:

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday-Friday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

(Please note: This is an in-person position, not open to remote.)

Job Overview

This is a phone-heavy customer care role focused on high-volume inbound customer support. The majority of your day will be spent answering customer phone calls, assisting with questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely support.

A key expectation of this role is maintaining a minimum of 50 customer calls per day.

Email communication is completed between phone calls, including sending follow-up emails that recap customer interactions. You will also complete a customer interaction tracker after each call to ensure accurate documentation and continuity of support.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of incoming customer phone calls throughout the day
  • Maintain a minimum of 50 customer calls per day
  • Provide clear, friendly, and efficient customer support over the phone
  • Send follow-up emails after calls summarizing customer interactions and next steps
  • Complete a customer interaction tracker after each call
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting, questions, and order support
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and efficient customer experience

Requirements

  • Must have customer service experience (required)
  • Strong experience answering and handling phone calls in a customer-facing role
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, phone-heavy environment
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Ability to stay organized while multitasking between calls, emails, and documentation
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive attitude and team mindset
