Role: Customer Service Rep (Customer Success – Student Experience & Support)

As an Customer Service Rep at CelMedia, you will work directly with our students as they join our programs — ensuring they are successfully onboarded, fully set up inside the platform, and confident about how to navigate the program and begin their journey.

You will act as a guide, support partner, and first-line success contact, helping students:

• understand the program structure & milestones

• set up accounts, tools, and platform access

• navigate the course and learning roadmap

• integrate into community & support channels

• receive fast, helpful responses through chat support

• feel welcomed, supported, and motivated from Day 1

Your mission is simple:

👉 Help every new student start strong, feel supported, and progress with clarity.

You will also play a key role in our Customer Success function — improving onboarding outcomes, reducing friction, and ensuring students have an exceptional program experience from the moment they enroll.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and onboard new students into the program

• Guide students through setup, access, and initial configuration

• Provide chat-based support and answer student questions in real-time

• Help students understand next steps, milestones, and success path

• Track onboarding progress and follow up with students who are inactive

• Identify common onboarding challenges and propose improvements

• Document insights, FAQs, and onboarding best practices

• Collaborate with Support, Product, and Success teams to improve experience

• Help maintain a supportive, encouraging, student-first environment

You are successful in this role when:

Requirements

• 2–4+ years experience in customer success, onboarding, or support roles

• Experience working in education, coaching, or online programs is a plus

• Excellent written communication skills (clear, concise, friendly tone)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

• Organized, proactive, and detail-driven

• Able to manage multiple student conversations at once

• Ownership mindset, integrity, and high level of responsibility

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, student-focused environment

Chat support or onboarding experience is a strong plus.

USD $1,000 – $2,000 + performance-based bonuses
