About The Role

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative working remotely from your home in California, you will play a vital role in supporting consumers with their healthcare benefit needs. Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong empathy, patience, and attentiveness to customer needs
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Windows-based applications
  • A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace
  • A secure, high-speed wired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner

  • Conduct research across multiple systems to resolve customer questions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide clear and concise information to help consumers navigate healthcare options and benefits

  • Follow a structured schedule that includes designated breaks and lunch periods
  • Document customer interactions accurately in the system for future reference
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
