What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Assist incoming callers with the process of submitting requests for medical records
  • Provide status updates regarding requests and route calls to appropriate hospital departments
  • Open and scan incoming mail as part of daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and safeguard patient privacy
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 6 months prior inbound call center experience required
  • 1 year prior experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
  • Strong technical/computer skills, including general knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Must be able to type 50 words per minute and operate fax, copier, and scanning machines
