The Company

Hurst International is a manufacturer of Automatic Labeling Systems and Labels for the fresh produce industry. We specialize in labels that are applied to individual produce items such as Chiquita, Dole, Del Monte and Sunkist stickers. We manufacture, sell and service world-wide though satellite plants, distributors and independent sales representatives. We are now considered the technology leader in our industry and are positioned to grow and achieve substantial market penetration though the implementation of our State-Of-The-Art labeling technology.

About the role

Hurst is a specialized manufacturer of produce labels and OEM automatic labeling equipment (the PLU and fruit stickers you see at the grocery store) serving growers and brand owners across North, Central and South America. We’re growing — and we’re adding a Customer Service & Sales Coordinator to be the person our customers rely on to get their orders right, on time, every season.

This is a customer-first role at the center of the action: you’ll be the friendly, dependable point of contact who keeps orders moving, answers questions before they become problems, and helps customers choose the right label for the job. What you’ll do

·      Be the go-to contact for customers — handling orders, status updates, delivery timing, and billing questions with speed and care.

·      Process and track label orders from order to delivery, coordinating with our production team.

·      Help customers pick the right label material for their application (we’ll train you deeply on this).

·      Coordinate artwork and special-project requests.

·      Step in to support and cover our sales managers so no customer ever goes unattended.

·      Keep an eye on ordering trends and flag what’s changing.

What you bring

·      Fluent English and Spanish: (spoken and written).

·      3+ years in customer service, inside sales, or account coordination at a manufacturer.

·      A knack for organization and follow-through — you don’t drop balls.

·      Confident, warm communication — customers trust you quickly.

·      Comfort with order / ERP systems, CRM, and Excel.

Bonus points

·      Pressure-sensitive label (PSL) experience: this is a big plus.

·      Packaging, labels, or printing industry background.

·      You like spotting patterns in numbers and trends.
