Position Overview

Our client, a well-established industrial equipment and service company, is seeking a Customer Sales & Service Representative to support their Red Deer branch. This position acts as the primary point of contact for service customers and plays a key role in coordinating service activities, supporting technicians, managing work orders, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Further Responsibilities Include the Following

• Coordinate customer service requests and support daily service department operations

• Gather customer information and accurately document equipment/service issues

• Prepare quotations for labor, materials, subcontractors, and parts

• Create and manage work orders and purchase orders

• Coordinate technician scheduling and parts availability

• Support procurement, shipping/receiving, and warranty claim administration

• Maintain CRM documentation and customer communications

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner

• Assist with inventory, shop supplies, and service administration tasks

• Support workflow coordination between technicians, vendors, customers, and management

Ideal Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a service coordination, service advisor, dispatch, or industrial customer support role

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of parts terminology

• Experience working in industrial, heavy equipment, oilfield, fleet, or mechanical service environments is considered an asset

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Comfortable working with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office

• Able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment

• Positive attitude with strong attention to detail and follow-through
