2. About the Opportunity:

The Customer Service Specialist role is focused on delivering high-quality service to both external and internal customers by efficiently processing product orders. This position is critical for ensuring smooth order management, accurate communication about product availability and shipping, and effective resolution of customer issues, thereby supporting the organization''s operational and customer satisfaction goals.

3. Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via calls, emails, and faxes.

• Manage customer-specific processes related to new business development.

• Oversee the price change process and notify relevant parties.

• Act as the main contact for service and product complaint resolution.

• Coordinate new product setups or changes with relevant departments.

• Handle large volumes of customer communications concerning orders, product information, stock status, pricing, shipping, and samples.

• Accurately enter orders into the system and confirm stock availability.

• Ensure prompt and accurate shipping and invoicing of orders.

• Inform customers of shipping dates and any delays.

• Communicate proactively about order changes.

• Maintain and enhance knowledge of product lines, pricing, and delivery times.

• Follow ISO procedures related to customer service.

• Troubleshoot issues related to pricing, order tracking, and stock availability.

• Suggest alternatives or solutions to customer concerns.

• Provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) as required.

• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams to enhance service.

4. Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Two to four years of related customer service experience.

• Experience with key accounts or private label preferred.

• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Understanding of Lean Management Principles is a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP, including sales reports and master data management, preferred.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and other mobility requirements.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The salary range for this position generally ranges between $49,879 and $62,348, based on qualifications, operations, and other considerations.

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
