Role Description The Customer Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role focuses on providing attentive, professional support to clients visiting the showroom, calling by phone, or contacting the company via digital channels. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, guiding clients through product options, and coordinating with sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth experience. The specialist will manage order-related questions, track requests, document interactions in internal systems, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. This position also involves maintaining a welcoming showroom environment, supporting administrative tasks, and contributing feedback to improve customer service processes.
Qualifications
- ERP Experience
- Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Customer Experience to deliver a high-quality, personalized client journey.
- Ability to provide effective Customer Support and maintain strong Customer Satisfaction through timely follow-up and issue resolution.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and clear communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Comfort working in an on-site showroom environment and collaborating with sales, design, and operations teams.
- Previous experience in luxury retail, interior design, flooring, or a related customer-facing industry is preferred.
- Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or customer service systems is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, communications, or design is a plus.
