Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Dispatch Coordinator, based in New Tecumseth, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. In this position, you will coordinate and manage logistical operations, including scheduling, assigning, and monitoring drivers and shipments. You will handle customer inquiries, provide updates on deliveries, and manage communications between drivers and clients. Administrative tasks, such as data entry and maintaining accurate records, are also key responsibilities of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong Dispatching skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate transportation schedules
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to foster positive relationships and address inquiries effectively
- Proficiency in Data Entry with attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled Multi-tasker with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
- Familiarity with logistics and transportation industry standards is a plus
- Experience with routing software and technology is preferred
