Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and professional Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the secure collection and on-site destruction of client materials while providing world-class customer service. As the public face of our company, you will drive a specialized Mobile Shred Vehicle (MSV) to various client locations, ensuring the total security and integrity of the chain of custody.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Execute Secure Collections and Destruction: Drive a company Mobile Shred Vehicle to client sites to safely collect, transport, and shred sensitive materials while utilizing wireless scanning technology to maintain accurate records.
- Manage Vehicle Integrity and Compliance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, manage refueling and cleanliness, and ensure total compliance with all transportation legislation and Iron Mountain’s “Driver Code of Conduct.”
- Provide Professional Client Solutions: Interface directly with customers to manage day-to-day requirements and resolve service issues, while also supporting warehouse operations such as retrievals, destructions, and inventory moves as needed.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a professional driving role and a strong understanding of national transport networks.
- Strong knowledge of secure chain-of-custody procedures and the ability to strictly follow Application and understanding of SOP 27 / 29 regarding safety and security.
- Proven ability to meet high physical demands, including manual lifting of large amounts of data (boxed or bagged) and the stamina to operate loading mechanisms throughout the day.
- A valid driver’s license appropriate for a Mobile Shred Vehicle and a commitment to safe, fuel-efficient driving practices.
