Role Description The Front Desk Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, patients, and partners in a professional and welcoming manner, and directing them to the appropriate person or department. Daily tasks include answering and routing phone calls, managing inquiries, scheduling and confirming reservations or appointments, and maintaining an organized reception area. The Front Desk Representative will handle check-in and check-out procedures, collect and verify basic information, and support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating records. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth front office operations and a positive experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle visitor and patient inquiries in a courteous, solutions-oriented manner.
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties, including managing a front desk, handling check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Professional phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems, routing calls, and taking clear messages.
  • Experience with reservations and appointment scheduling, including confirming, modifying, and organizing bookings.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, scheduling or CRM systems); prior experience in healthcare or hospitality is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in administration, hospitality, or healthcare is preferred.
