What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Respond to member/customer requests for emergency road service in a call center environment
- Gather and document information regarding service requests, including vehicle location and type of problem
- Communicate with contractors to relay member information and obtain estimated times of arrival
- Promote and process membership sales opportunities while exceeding performance metrics
- Accurately close out service calls and maintain detailed records within the system
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience in a professional setting
- Proficient in inputting information into a PC and navigating automated processing systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate situations effectively
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain applicable state licenses for selling and/or servicing employer products
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- College-level coursework in Business, Marketing, Geography, or related fields
- Experience in a call center environment, particularly in remote work settings
- Familiarity with promoting products and services, as well as identifying and responding to customer needs through cross-selling and up-selling
