Role Description The Ground Support Officer is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the GIM platform and related services. This position involves assisting customers, truck owners, agents, and drivers with inquiries, onboarding, and problem resolution through phone, chat, and email. The Ground Support Officer monitors trip statuses, verifies information, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings and timely issue escalation. The role includes documenting support cases, tracking common operational challenges, and sharing feedback to help improve processes, tools, and user experience. The Ground Support Officer is expected to maintain professional, clear communication and provide consistent, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build trust and provide responsive support to diverse stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, for effective interaction with customers and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess sound Analytical Skills to interpret trip data, identify issues, and propose practical solutions for operational challenges.
  • Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to navigate web and mobile applications, troubleshoot basic user issues, and guide users through technology features.
  • Relevant skills such as attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote setting are highly beneficial.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or technology-driven service platforms is an advantage.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field (e.g., business, logistics, IT, customer service) is preferred.
