Customer Service
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Assist guests in seating arrangements and explain menu offerings.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.
Order Taking and Serving
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ensure orders are relayed to the kitchen and bar correctly.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and in a courteous manner.
- Manage special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, customized dishes).
Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene
- Set up, clean, and reset tables and service stations.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the service area.
- Adhere to food safety regulations.
Inventory and Stock Management
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage stock as needed.
- Inform management of shortages or maintenance needs.
Coordination with Team
- Communicate with kitchen staff and other service team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in pre-shift briefings and meetings.
- Assist in training new team members as needed.
- Upselling and Promotions
- Promote daily specials, offers, and new menu items.
- Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.
Billing and Cash Handling
- Prepare accurate bills for guests and process payments (cash, card, or other methods).
- Handle billing discrepancies or issues with professionalism.
Compliance and Policies
- Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including fire safety protocols.
