JOB SUMMARY

Lead and oversee the Relationship & Advisory (RA) function to ensure effective, consistent and high-quality delivery of advisory services to EPF members across Regional Offices and branches. The role is responsible for driving the RA business model, strengthening advisory capabilities, enhancing customer experience and ensuring alignment with organisational strategies and governance standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. RA Operations Leadership

  • Lead the overall management of the Relationship & Advisory (RA) function, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance with established policies and guidelines
  • Provide direction, oversight and guidance to RA officers across regions and branches

2. Advisory Business Model & Capability Development

  • Drive the development, standardisation and implementation of the RA business model, advisory modules and engagement frameworks
  • Oversee the development of financial literacy content, advisory toolkits and communication materials aligned with organisational strategies
  • Strengthen advisory capabilities through structured training, coaching and competency development initiatives

3. Subject Matter Expert & Strategic Advisory

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RA, providing technical guidance and strategic input to enhance advisory services
  • Support continuous improvement of advisory approaches, methodologies and service delivery

4. Performance Monitoring & Strategic Reporting

  • Monitor and analyse RA performance metrics, including outreach targets, KPIs and service outcomes
  • Identify trends, gaps and pain points, and recommend improvement actions
  • Oversee preparation of reports, dashboards and presentation materials for senior management

5. Risk, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure RA operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements and audit standards
  • Manage operational risks and support audit processes, including corrective actions and continuous improvements

6. Customer Experience & Service Enhancement

  • Lead initiatives to enhance member experience through advisory services
  • Design and improve customer journey for RA engagements to ensure seamless and effective service delivery

7. Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Ensure effective communication and alignment of RA strategies across Regional Offices and branches
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support advisory initiatives and organisational objectives
  • Manage engagement with relevant stakeholders to strengthen advisory ecosystem

8. Project & Policy Implementation

  • Lead the development and implementation of RA-related projects, policies, SOPs and operational frameworks
  • Ensure effective execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government
  • Possess Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, Accounting, Islamic Finance, Marketing, Management, or equivalent qualifications from local or overseas higher learning institutions recognised by the Malaysian Government
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in advisory, financial services, operations or related field
  • Professional certification in financial planning, retirement planning, advisory, customer experience or service management, such as SRFP, CFP, IFP, RFP or equivalent certification, would be an added advantage
  • Experience in team leadership and managing multi-location operations
  • Strong understanding of financial advisory, customer engagement and service delivery
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to drive strategic initiatives and operational execution
  • Candidates with professional certification (e.g. SRFP) is encouraged to apply
