Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Operations Team Lead with proven experience overseeing a team to manage a remote staff handling Medicaid recertification submissions.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring full ownership of daily operations, including team performance, accountability, and escalations. Candidates must be comfortable directly managing staff, enforcing standards, and driving results.
This role is best suited for candidates who have successfully led teams in a structured, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly oversee and manage a remote team responsible for Medicaid recertifications
- Hold team members accountable for productivity, accuracy, and deadlines
- Lead daily meetings, set expectations, and track performance metrics
- Handle escalations, resolve issues, and make decisions independently
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and on time
- Identify performance gaps and take corrective action when needed
- Maintain clear, professional communication across all channels
- Work cross-functionally to support operational efficiency
Required Qualifications (Applicants without these will not be considered)
- Proven experience managing or overseeing a team (required)
- Experience holding employees accountable to performance standards
- Strong leadership presence and ability to manage team dynamics
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle escalations and make decisions independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing remote teams
- Healthcare or Medicaid experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience in operations, call center, or high-volume environments
Pay: $70,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
