Position: Instructor, Indigenous Language Fluency (ILF 111 – Pathways to Reconciliation and Social Action)
Post Office Specialist – London Drugs
The Post Office Specialist position provides sales assistance and the highest level of customer service in all departments of London Drugs, with a specific focus on the Post Office department. The individual in this position will be able to problem solve and find solutions to customer mailing needs.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while providing quality customer service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Perform inventory counts, merchandise, and maintain the professional sales image of the Post Office department.
- Assist customers in all areas of the Post Office, including mailing letters and parcels, providing assistance with PO boxes, and facilitating Venture One and other CPC transactions.
- Use a computer system (Basic PC knowledge) to process customer transactions.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal, motivational, and follow‑up skills and remain calm when dealing with difficult situations.
- Cooperate with other departments to support Company initiatives and achieve Company objectives.
Qualifications
- Previous customer‑service or sales experience preferred.
- Basic PC knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to cope with stress, pressure, and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Flexible schedule availability from Monday to Sunday.
- Prior post‑office experience and familiarity with the ROSS (Canada Post POS system) considered an asset.
