About The Role
The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital environment. This role will provide key support to the advisors by generating qualified appointments through proactive engagement with potential clients, identifying their needs, and scheduling consultations.
We offer strong marketing support and a consistent pool of leads, along with the necessary tools to enable a seamless appointment-setting experience. The candidate will also have access to a comprehensive portfolio of products from leading insurers, as well as recommendations and tools to support the delivery of personalised advice and an exceptional customer experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Engage new client leads to share our value proposition and offer friendly, honest and transparent service.
- Collaborate with other departments to address complex advisor or client needs.
- Stay current on industry regulations, company policies, and product offerings.
- Maintain high, consistent activity levels daily to ensure a strong pipeline.
- Effectively assess client needs, affordability, and interest. Only qualified leads should be passed to advisors to protect their time and improve close rates.
- Consistently meet or exceed appointment targets while ensuring appointments are valid, confirmed, and aligned to advisor requirements.
- Proactively confirm appointments (e.g., same day or day before), provide clear information to clients, and reduce cancellations/no-shows
- Collaborating with our digital team to enhance our online services and tools.
- Provide input to financial education content and tools.
- Cold calling & customer service and admin support functions
What we are looking for
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- FAIS accreditation & fit and proper
- Previous experience in a call centre, sales, or appointment setting role (preferred)
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry (advantageous)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics
- Basic computer literacy (CRM systems, MS Office)
- Highly motivated and target-oriented, with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales
goals
- Committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and
compliance
- Professional individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamplayer & the ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly
- Good organisational and time management skill
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Good understanding and experience in the financial services industry
