We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Broker Support professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in the reinsurance industry. No prior insurance or reinsurance experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Brokers in the placement of Facultative and Treaty Reinsurance business on behalf of clients.
  • Act as a key point of contact between Clients and Reinsurers, responding to queries and assisting with the efficient processing of premium debit notes and claim settlement requests.
  • Prepare treaty renewal submissions in collaboration with Brokers and Account Executives.
  • Prepare and finalize contractual wordings with Clients and Reinsurers under the guidance of Brokers and Account Executives.
  • Prepare contract endorsements and addendums as required.
  • Accurately record renewal information, key placement dates, and expected revenues within the company’s tracking systems.
  • Maintain complete and organized placement files, ensuring all relevant documents and correspondence are properly filed for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Upload risk information into company systems and generate Evidence of Cover documentation.
  • Assist with the onboarding of Clients and Reinsurers in coordination with the Head of Compliance.
  • Ensure all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed throughout the placement process.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Clients, Reinsurers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to review and support complex reinsurance transactions.
  • Support additional projects and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the reinsurance sector.
