Junior Executive – Customer Service | Shipping & Cargo Logistics (Pvt) Ltd

Shipping and Cargo Logistics (Pvt) Ltd represents Liner and Casual caller principals in all ports of Sri Lanka.

This role handles complete import and export documentation processes, ensuring timely and accurate coordination with liner principals, overseas agents, customers, and authorities such as Sri Lanka Customs and SLPA. It includes counter operations, updating principal systems, submitting manifests on time, maintaining documentation records, and working closely with sales, documentation, and finance teams to ensure smooth operational flow and completion of assigned tasks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with liner principles, overseas agents and local customers to ensure their import / export documentation requirements are met on time.
  • Follow-up with stake holders such as Sri Lanka Customs, Ports Authority for smooth logistical support on principles requirements.
  • Maintain track records of documentation jobs completed on principle requirements.
  • Coordinate with sales, documentation, and finance departments to ensure all documentation activities are made smooth.
  • Ensure manifest are report to Sri Lankan Customs and SLPA on stipulated time.
  • Any other related functions assigned by the division
