Job Title: Lead – Last Mile Transport | Hub Network

Job Purpose:

To lead and orchestrate the Last Mile Transport Hub Network for the Electronics Supply Chain (Large & Small) — driving network design, hub operations, 3PL partner governance, and customer-centric delivery execution across the country. The role ensures cost-efficient, reliable, and scalable last-mile fulfilment that meets defined service levels, elevates customer experience, and supports the growth of the Electronics SCM function.

Education Background: MBA from a reputed top-tier institute (Full-Time)

Industry: Electronics/Retail/E Commerce/Logistics & Supply Chain

Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Head Transportation (Electronics Supply Chain)

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and continuously optimize the last-mile hub network across geographies to ensure Pin code coverage, capacity, throughput, and serviceability aligned with business growth and seasonality.

2. Lead end-to-end last-mile delivery operations through hubs — inbound receipt, sortation, dispatch, rider routing, exception handling, returns, and RTO management — ensuring adherence to SLAs and on-time delivery commitments.

3. Govern and manage 3PL partners, and freelance/contracted fleets; drive performance reviews, contract negotiations, rate benchmarking, and capacity planning aligned to volume forecasts.

4. Define and institutionalize standard operating procedures, hub layouts, and operating norms; build a structured cadence of operations reviews across regional and hub leadership.

5. Leverage technology, data analytics, and route optimization to monitor real-time hub and delivery performance, identify bottlenecks, and deploy data-driven interventions.

6. Drive cost-to-serve improvements at the last mile — managing cost per shipment, cost per kilometer, hub productivity, and unit economics across the network.

7. Lead customer experience initiatives at the doorstep — delivery slot adherence, proactive communication, secure delivery protocols for high-value electronics, and rapid resolution of delivery exceptions.

8. Partner with Supply Chain, Category, Customer Service, and Technology teams to align last-mile capabilities with omni-channel commitments, new launches, sale events, and peak-volume planning.

9. Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regional managers, hub leads, and operations specialists; create talent capability for scaled last-mile operations.

10. Ensure adherence to safety, statutory, regulatory, and compliance requirements across the hub network and partner ecosystem.
