Role Description The Medical Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at 101 Clinics in New Cairo. This role is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, managing the reception area, and ensuring a welcoming and organized front desk experience. Daily tasks include answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, scheduling and confirming appointments, updating patient information, and coordinating patient flow between waiting areas and clinical staff. The Medical Receptionist will handle patient registration, maintain accurate records, support billing and insurance processes, and communicate effectively with medical and administrative teams. This role also involves maintaining confidentiality, adhering to clinic policies, and providing courteous, efficient service to all visitors and patients.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in appointment scheduling and managing patient bookings efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills with patients and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess receptionist duties experience, including front desk management and patient check-in/check-out.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with medical terminology and working in a medical office environment.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting, proficiency with electronic medical records or scheduling software, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and fluency in English and Arabic.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a diploma or coursework in healthcare administration or related fields is an advantage.
