What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Coordinate testing services for patients by reviewing test request forms and documentation for accurate and timely testing
  • Communicate with patients to explain insurance coverage benefits and testing information
  • Manage assigned work independently and meet production and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure prompt handling of orders and billing processes
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance plan and comply with applicable regulations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, often under pressure
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including familiarity with Excel, Word, Internet, and email
  • Strong organizational and task management skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Fluent in Spanish is encouraged
  • Higher net typing speed
  • Enjoys problem-solving and identifying patterns
  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare-related role
