Role Description
The Merchandise Assistant Manager will support daily operations and assist in leading a team to ensure that customers have an exceptional shopping experience. Key responsibilities include managing inventory and product assortments, supporting merchandising initiatives, and achieving sales targets. The role also involves fostering a welcoming environment for customers and promoting excellent customer service. This is a full-time on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC, and requires active participation in store operations and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with team members and customers
- Experience in Sales and understanding of techniques to drive performance and achieve targets
- Proficiency in Inventory Management and Assortment planning to ensure efficient stock oversight
- Leadership ability, team collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in retail or a related industry is an advantage
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
