Our client, a mid-sized international freight forwarder, is seeking an Entry-Level Ocean Import CSR to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in global logistics, supply chain, and international transportation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process air export shipments from origin to destination
- Prepare and review shipping documentation including seaway bills, commercial invoices, and export paperwork
- Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, customers, and internal departments
- Track shipments and provide status updates to clients
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company procedures
- Enter shipment details into internal operating systems accurately and efficiently
- Assist with resolving shipment issues and delays when needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Customer service or administrative experience preferred
- Interest in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Previous logistics experience is a plus, but not required
