We are looking for an organized, personable, and proactive Onboarding Specialist to help new customers successfully launch on the WaveRez platform.

Position Overview

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping new customers transition to WaveRez. You will guide operators through the onboarding process, ensure their accounts are properly configured, coordinate internally with sales and support, and help customers feel confident using the platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer communication, project coordination, problem solving, and helping businesses succeed.

  • $50,000 per year

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Onboarding & Account Setup

  • Lead new customers through the onboarding process from kickoff to launch 
  • Review handoff information from Sales and identify any missing details 
  • Gather required business, product, pricing, schedule, and operational information 
  • Build and configure customer accounts inside WaveRez 
  • Set up trips, pricing, schedules, add-ons, waivers, booking settings, and operational details 
  • Coordinate booking transfers and relevant data from previous reservation systems when needed 
  • Keep onboarding projects organized, moving forward, and on schedule 

Customer Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer during onboarding
  • Schedule and lead kickoff calls, setup reviews, implementation meetings, and post-live check-ins
  • Answer customer questions and address concerns during implementation
  • Maintain consistent follow-up so customers know what is needed and what comes next
  • Help customers feel confident, prepared, and excited to launch with WaveRez

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the our Head of Sales to ensure smooth customer handoff after a deal is closed
  • Communicate customer needs, concerns, and feedback internally
  • Take ownership in creating a repeatable onboarding process as WaveRez continues to scale, suggesting and implementing process changes when necessary

Post-Launch Follow-Up

  • Follow up with customers after launch to ensure everything is running smoothly
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer success and satisfaction
  • Help reduce churn by proactively addressing concerns early

QualificationsPreferred Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable managing multiple customers, projects, and timelines at once
  • Ability to learn software systems quickly
  • Customer service, onboarding, account management, or hospitality experience is a plus
  • Experience with reservation software, SaaS platforms, or tourism/watersports businesses is a bonus
