Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Operations and Reservation Executive role based in Sri Lanka. The role involves managing end-to-end reservations for hotels, transfers, tours, and related travel services, ensuring accurate, timely confirmations and documentation. The Operations and Reservation Executive will coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and travel partners to prepare itineraries, quotations, and vouchers, and to handle booking changes, cancellations, and special requests. Daily tasks include maintaining booking systems and resolving operational issues to ensure smooth ground handling and client satisfaction. The role also includes monitoring service quality, responding to customer and partner inquiries, supporting sales with operational information, and contributing to process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in Reservations and Customer Satisfaction, including handling bookings, and complaints with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Basic Sales and cross-selling abilities, preferably within travel, hospitality, or tourism environments.
- Prior experience in travel operations, destination management, or hospitality reservations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with reservation systems, MS Office tools, and general computer literacy.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, accuracy in documentation, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages and local destination knowledge of Sri Lanka are beneficial.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally for development, trade fairs, familiarization trips.
