The Ordertaker / Waiter – In-Villa Dining is responsible for executing all phases of the private dining experience for guests in their villas and suites. The purpose of this role is to provide a seamless and personalized fine-dining service, from the initial telephone order-taking to the final in-room delivery, setup, and clearance. This role ensures the highest standards of hospitality, discretion, and efficiency are upheld, creating a memorable and exclusive dining experience for our guests.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English. Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Strong understanding of fine-dining service standards and the ability to adapt them to an in-room dining environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail in both order accuracy and presentation of service trays and trolleys.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of discretion, integrity, and respect for guest privacy.
- Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods.
- A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Impeccable personal grooming and adherence to all uniform standards.

- Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Food & Beverage role within a five-star luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- Previous experience in In-Villa Dining (Room Service) or Fine Dining service is highly preferred.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls to the In-Villa Dining department promptly, courteously, and professionally.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the In-Villa Dining menu to answer guest inquiries, provide recommendations, and accommodate special requests.
- Record guest orders accurately, paying close attention to dietary restrictions, allergies, and individual preferences.
- Enter all orders into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and coordinate with the kitchen to confirm preparation times.
- Inform guests of the estimated delivery time and confirm all order details before ending the call.
- Prepare and assemble In-Villa Dining trays and trolleys to the highest presentation standards, ensuring all required cutlery, glassware, linen, and condiments are included.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest villas and suites efficiently, discreetly, and on time.
- Set up the dining experience in the guest's villa or suite, presenting dishes and beverages with the same level of care and elegance as a fine-dining restaurant.
- Obtain guest signatures for billing and process all charges according to resort procedures.
- Clear used trays and trolleys promptly and discreetly upon guest request or at scheduled intervals.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the In-Villa Dining service station and related equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen, stewarding, and other Food & Beverage departments to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues related to In-Villa Dining orders professionally and efficiently.
