What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Contact patients regarding the delivery of medical equipment and take patient orders
  • Verify patient information and accurately transcribe patient profiles over the phone
  • Process patient orders through the online pharmacy system
  • Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients
  • Troubleshoot problems based on patient input regarding equipment failures

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)
  • Background check and drug screening completion (when applicable for the position)
  • Ability to interpret various forms of communication, including verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Background in the medical field with experience in administrative record management
  • Familiarity with medical billing processes and reimbursement procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with medical equipment
