What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Contact patients regarding the delivery of medical equipment and take patient orders
- Verify patient information and accurately transcribe patient profiles over the phone
- Process patient orders through the online pharmacy system
- Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients
- Troubleshoot problems based on patient input regarding equipment failures
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable)
- Background check and drug screening completion (when applicable for the position)
- Ability to interpret various forms of communication, including verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Background in the medical field with experience in administrative record management
- Familiarity with medical billing processes and reimbursement procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience working with medical equipment
