Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Enrollment & Support Specialist to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in patient onboarding, enrollment coordination, and care program support within a US-based healthcare setting. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enroll and onboard new patients into CCM, PCM, RPM, and BHI programs.
- Conduct outreach calls to educate patients about available care programs and obtain consent for enrollment.
- Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage prior to enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EHR/EMR systems.
- Coordinate with providers and care teams to schedule appointments and follow-ups.
- Support prior authorization workflows and ensure required documentation is submitted timely.
- Document all patient interactions, care activities, and program enrollment details accurately.
- Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).
- Follow up with patients regarding care plans, medication management, and ongoing program participation.
- Collaborate with billing teams to verify claims accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and maintain enrollment reports and performance trackers.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in patient enrollment, onboarding, or healthcare operations.
- Hands-on experience with CCM, RPM, or PCM programs.
- Strong knowledge of EHR/EMR systems (Athenahealth, Epic, Kareo, or similar).
- Prior authorization and insurance verification experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and PHI handling.
- Ability to work onsite in EST hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM PKT).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with chronic disease management programs.
- Knowledge of medical billing and claims processing.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and patient communication platforms (Vonage, RingCentral, etc.).
- HIPAA Certification is a strong plus.
