Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Aluthgama. The Receptionist will greet guests, manage check-in and check-out processes, and serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. Daily responsibilities include answering and directing calls, maintaining guest records, coordinating with housekeeping and other teams, and handling basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and documentation. The role also involves providing accurate information about services, assisting with bookings, and ensuring that guests experience professional, courteous, and efficient front-desk service. The Receptionist will support smooth day-to-day operations and uphold Digital Escapes’ commitment to hospitality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
-Handling client calls , emails and being fluent in Ms office is a must
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess basic administrative and organizational skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and handling phone and email correspondence.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages and familiarity with hospitality terminology are beneficial.
- Candidates should possess comfort with using computers and office software; experience with reservation or front-desk systems is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or hospitality role is preferred; a relevant certificate or diploma in hospitality or business administration is an added benefit.
