Summary
We are hiring a Remote Candidate Interviewer to help support our growing recruitment team by conducting initial phone interviews with prospective candidates across the United States. In this role, you'll speak with applicants, assess basic qualifications, answer questions about available opportunities, and coordinate the next steps in the hiring process. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys interacting with people and creating a positive candidate experience while working remotely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a high volume of phone interviews with prospective candidates each day.
- Review candidate qualifications and verify basic hiring requirements.
- Ask structured interview questions while maintaining a professional and conversational approach.
- Provide accurate information about available positions and the hiring process.
- Schedule qualified candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process.
- Record interview notes, candidate feedback, and hiring updates within the CRM and applicant tracking system.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the interview process.
- Meet daily interview, scheduling, and productivity goals.
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
Qualifications
- Excellent English speaking and active listening skills.
- Strong interpersonal and interviewing abilities.
- Professional phone etiquette and confidence speaking with a wide variety of candidates.
- Reliable computer or laptop, smartphone, and high-speed internet connection.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple interviews while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in recruiting, interviewing, human resources, customer service, call centers, or outbound calling is an advantage but not required.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn new recruiting processes.
