Summary

We are seeking a professional Remote Phone Interviewer to support our growing recruitment team by conducting initial interviews with prospective candidates. In this role, you'll connect with applicants by phone, discuss available opportunities, evaluate basic qualifications, and schedule qualified candidates for the next stage of the hiring process. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, has strong communication skills, and wants to build a long-term career in remote recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of phone interviews with prospective candidates each day.
  • Review candidate qualifications using structured interview guidelines.
  • Explain available opportunities and answer general questions about the hiring process.
  • Assess communication skills, availability, and other basic hiring criteria.
  • Schedule qualified candidates for follow-up interviews with the recruitment team.
  • Maintain detailed interview notes and update candidate records within the CRM and applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience throughout every interaction.
  • Meet daily interview, scheduling, and productivity goals.
  • Participate in virtual training sessions, coaching, and team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Excellent English verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Professional, confident, and personable phone presence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Reliable computer or laptop, smartphone, and dependable high-speed internet connection.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple interviews while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Previous experience in recruiting, interviewing, customer service, call centers, human resources, or outbound calling is preferred but not required.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
