Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role based in the Pretoria Metropolitan Area. The Sales Consultant will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and promote BEX Express services to meet assigned sales targets. Responsibilities include conducting client visits, preparing and delivering presentations, and drafting proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs. The role also involves managing the sales pipeline, following up on leads, negotiating pricing and service agreements within set guidelines, and ensuring a smooth handover to operations. The Sales Consultant will work closely with customer service and operations teams to help ensure service quality, resolve issues promptly, and support high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Sales Consulting and Courier, with experience understanding client needs and recommending suitable logistics or courier solutions.
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with the ability to manage expectations and build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional business writing, and confident presentation abilities.
- Prior experience in courier, logistics, transportation, or related services is required.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and handle a structured sales pipeline.
- Comfort using CRM tools and basic office software for tracking leads, opportunities, and client activities.
- Matric/High school diploma required; a post-school qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area for client meetings.
- Own reliable vehicle
- Own cell phone with over 2 gigs of data per month for the CRM system.
